Plants Oils and Organic Powders

The plant oils active ingredients target and block a key neurotransmitter receptor site for octopamine, which is found only in invertebrates (ie. insects). Mammals do not have these receptors for octopamine, so these plants oils have no adverse effect on them. Many of the plant oils are classified as “Generally Recognized As Safe” (GRAS) and/ or are approved for food and beverage consumption by the U.S. FDA.

Low Toxicity Pesticides

These are new age products which are considerably more effective and lower in toxicity then typical conventional pesticides. Dupont has developed a product which has earned the Award for Team Innovation from the American Chemical Society (ACS). Arilon is bio-activated and targets natural enzymes in insects, not non-target organisms, like mammals. It works within the pests therefore is very favorable to the environment.

He has worked in research labs (bio control of exotic pests), conducted experiments for new termiticide baits (Dow Agro Sciences), held the position as the southwest US regional technical manager (industry), was the previous head coordinator/biologist for the CA Red Imported Fire Ant Program (Vector Control District), and now proud owner of Private Pest Exterminators since 2001.
